In the Old and New Testament Lectionary readings for this Sunday, we hear what seems the near-impossible task of forgiveness–particularly of enemies. This difficult task seems impossible on the surface of human existence, reactions and emotions. But it is love, and love that is the source of our souls, that enables us to do that which is impossible.
