The temptation to live for ourselves at the expense of others is both as ancient as humanity itself and as contemporary as today’s date. We can choose to live for ourselves, or we can choose to live for God. We can trust ourselves and our own resources, or we can entrust our lives and futures

These are difficult times, with lots of deep, raw emotions. So when you catch yourself making pronouncements or judgments, stop and turn to God. Pray for God’s help, and be open to what God might show you, where God might lead you.  Pray always for peace to prevail. Today’s message is

Deep trust grows from relying on God in the not-so-pleasant times. We want to rely on God in those times to rescue us from the unpleasantness. Sometimes that may happen, sometimes it may not. But to rely on God when you can’t see how to dig yourself out of a hole, or you don’t know when
