This week we hear the great commandment spoken by Jesus in Matthew’s Gospel. This is a dangerous time for Jesus as he is being challenged and his very life threatened. We often think that the tough places in our lives are no place for love. Jesus teaches us otherwise. Love is a choice.

As we continue our series on invitation, we hear the story of Zaccheaus, who seemed the least likely person Jesus would bother to spend any time with, much less ask to be welcomed by. It is important to remember that Jesus is not just for you and me as individuals and for the people who make us
