The wilderness is a repeated theme in the Bible representing both a physical place and an experience. In the Wilderness the people of God hear a Word from God that helps them navigate uncertainty and fear. God’s Word continues to meet us in the wildernesses we experience–bringing direction and assurance in times of uncertainty.
