On our first Sunday back in hybrid worship, we remember the story of the remnant from the Hebrew Scriptures and recall the difficulties of reconvening after a difficult time of separation. We turn to the words of the Apostle Paul in Romans to remind us that it is through our difficulties and sufferings that we encounter the grace and peace of God most closely. These times do not destroy us, but rather ultimately produce hope that no trial or circumstance can extinguish.
