In the story of Zaccheaus, we see the power of Jesus. Jesus sees Zaccheaus and in response, Zaccheaus extends hospitality to Jesus and takes steps to right the wrongs in his life. When Jesus transforming power enters our lives, we are changed–sometimes that includes changing a vocation that might not be life giving to self and others. We know that Jesus works with us through these changes to be salvation in the sense of wholeness.
