The Edges of Your Field

Posted on 14 Nov 2021, Pastor: Rochelle Richards

We continue our Stewardship emphasis as we consider God’s call, in the Hebrew Scriptures, for the people to remember that they once were strangers in a strange land. 36 times in the Torah, the people are reminded to remember the least among them: the widow, the orphan the refugee/immigrant. We ponder that, we also ponder what the modern day equivalent of the farmer’s field would be for us and whether or not we are reserving the edges of it for the least of those in our midst. We continue to seek to grow in stewardship and generosity as God call us.

Today’s message is based on Leviticus 23:22 & Deuteronomy 24:19.
