The extravagance of God’s love in Christ is powerful. So much so, that we often feel the need to mute it by limiting its scope. The act of Mary anointing Jesus’ feet was a very personal act of humbling love. As we move into Holy Week, we pause to remember this great, powerful love of God for all people.
