We often struggle to “get it right” and in religious communities structure life around strict adherence to doctrine, but here Jesus casts a more open and inclusive view. Those who do good in his name belong. At the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) we embody this weekly in an open invitation to the Communion table. Everyone belongs regardless of how right or wrong we are. God’s welcome and grace is truly amazing!
