Based on Jesus time alone in the desert, the 40 days of Lent, which began on Ash Wednesday, are a time for letting go of things that burden or distract us and to store up heavenly treasures that will carry us through the times of vulnerability and temptation. It’s a time to hit the reset button and discover where our hearts really are.
