This week we hear the great commandment spoken by Jesus in Matthew’s Gospel. This is a dangerous time for Jesus as he is being challenged and his very life threatened. We often think that the tough places in our lives are no place for love. Jesus teaches us otherwise. Love is a choice. And Love empowers us to find meaning and purpose, even when life is hard. So love God and love others, always, and especially when its difficult.
