On this Fourth Sunday of Advent we consider what love is and that love is only fully embodied and known within relationship to others. This reality of love is both joyful and painful as we know that not all relationships are loving or lasting. We love anyways, with hope and with God’s promise to always be with us in the joys and sorrows of life and love.
