On this New Year’s Day, we also celebrate Epiphany and hear again the story of God made manifest in the Christ Child to the Magi. We hear again of God’s radical inclusivity, which often surprises and confounds us. We also receive “star words” or “star gifts:” single words, chosen at random for us to prayerfully reflect upon in the new year. We pray all the best for everyone in 2023!
