On this second Sunday of Advent, we light the candle for peace and consider the peace of Mary’s “yes” to angel’s annunciation of her pregnancy. Saying yes to God is the most terrifying and wonderful thing we can do with our lives and God promises to give us the things we need to walk through the more challenging seasons of our life of faith.
