We continue our sermon series entitled illustrated earth. Today we continue to consider water and how water is foundational to life and to our life of faith. We hear the story today of God in the pre-creation and the first part of creation. We consider that God forms from what is formless. God leaves room for a continuous cycle of formlessness to form and back again. It is a mystery why God would do this. In prayerful consideration, perhaps we see a God who is not about absolutes, but about relationships. God gives the creation the freedom to make the choices it will in relation to God and the creation. May we choose to continue our journey of understanding that which is greater than ourselves and to walk in goodness and light.
