Whether we are people who find comfort in answers or in questions, through today’s story we are reminded that God is continually building bridges to us through Jesus. We also remember that while the things we do are important (baptism and belief), ultimately it is God’s gracious Spirit that chooses to go where it will. In each day, we awake and do the best we can do as we take a step over the bridge God’s builds to us.
