On this Pentecost Sunday we hear from Ezekiel and his vision of the valley of dry bones. We remember the hopelessness of God’s people and recognize a bit of our own in the heaps of dry bones. We are reminded that resurrection does come after the painful seasons of death and loss and that is both a gift from God and an event that summons us forward into the work of prophesying to the breath and sharing God’s restorative Spirit with others.
Today’s message is based on Ezekiel 37:1-14.
