This Easter we read the shorter version of Mark’s Easter story which does not resolve as neatly as we’d like. It is a good year to sit with the ambiguity of this story and invite Christ’s risen presence into the many questions, doubts and unsettled feelings we have from this past year. We remember, through it all, that the sun does indeed rise and God’s presence is with us always.
