The word Maundy comes from Latin meaning Mandate. On this evening we remember Jesus’ mandate to his disciples at the Last Supper to “Love one another as I have loved you” (John 13:34). Join us in person at our 432 Wood Ave. Location or on Facebook on Thursday, April 17th at 6:00 p.m. as we remember Jesus’ last supper. We will worship in the way of the Taize Community in France whose practice involves the singing of simple songs and prayer in long periods of quiet. The belief of the Taize community is that we find peace in the world by first finding peace in our hearts.
