In today’s Scripture, we find comforting words of rest for those who have been travelling long distances while carrying heavy burdens. These words of Jesus are much needed in these times of stress and uncertainty. We also hear in these words a call to continued work once we’ve had time to rest, reflect and re calibrate. And the promise is, that when we return to this work, we will never work alone. Jesus will be yoked to us, pulling with and for us all the way!
