In times of great change and uncertainty, we want to fill ourselves with answers and knowing. As the Disciples bid Jesus goodbye, they were filled with questions about the times–is this the time for God’s Kingdom Come? Jesus’ answer reminds us, that in the midst of our desires to know, we really find God in the emptiness and find God’s power enabling us to witness to the God we find in the emptiness. In these times of great change and uncertainty, loosen the grip you have on all the things that control you, that you want to control, that are completely out of your control, and find God in the letting go.
