We keep what we love. Jesus, in readying his disciples for the time when he will no longer be with them, says, “If you love me, you will keep my commandments.” Jesus commandment to his friends during the last Passover was “to love one another as I have loved you.” In these times, it is important to locate our love in Jesus, so that we can keep his commandment to love others and, in so doing, receive the gift of the Advocate of Holy Spirit.
