Healing Prayer Sunday

April 5, 2020 | 10:15 am

Healing comes in many forms–physical healing, spiritual healing, the healing of broken relationships and broken lives. We believe in the power of praying for God’s healing in our lives. Based on the pattern of James 5:14, we engage in the act of healing prayer on the first Sunday of each month following worship. After worship, Pastor Rochelle and an Elder of the church will remain down front for anyone desiring a time of healing prayer.

The first Sunday of the month is also our discipleship Sunday where we invite anyone interested in formally joining the church to come forward at the end of worship to either reaffirm or make their confession of faith in Jesus as the Christ, Son of the Living God, Lord and Savior of all. In the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) this is the only confession or reaffirmation of faith required to join the church. Those having not been baptized can talk with the Pastor. Those having previously been baptized are not required to be re baptized to join the church.
